No, But you can sell, trade or transfer your spot to someone. All rides have limited spots and rides are closed when those numbers are met.

Getting There

It is roughly a 1 hour and 45 minute drive from the San Ysidro border crossing to Ensenada. Once you have cleared inspection stay to the right over the bridge, then over the hill and another right will put you directly on the toll road all the way to Ensenada. Google maps does work so you can also punch in the hotel for navigation assistance.

Yes! We have a meeting point in San Diego available for all of our rides.

Open trailer is the best way to bring anything into Mexico, Enclosed trailers will have to go thru the X-Ray Machine which is a separate line.

Its advised not to bring full gas jugs at this time. We have not seen an issue with full RotopaX attached to vehicles.

Logistics

We get this question a lot. Our host hotels have sectioned and secured parking just for us. Mexican Insurance is a must just like in the states. Contact Ride Baja Mexican Insurance. www.ridebaja.com or call 1-800-524-BAJA

91 octane is available everywhere. If you need to buy a drum of higher octane race fuel please contact us so we can make special arrangements.

Always best to pay for everything in pesos. Some places will take a credit card but not guaranteed. You can exchange Dollars for Pesos at many locations in Ensenada.  Dollars are fine at all locations.

Weather can change very fast in Baja, be prepared for the cold and rain. We always keep an eye on the forecast to keep you informed.

Yes, we only require 5 packages to fill a custom ride.

On a normal ride (not a custom) first and last days are normally the biggest at about 150 miles. Our goal is to get to the next location with plenty of time to wash up and get a good relaxing meal at the end of the day.

Our Chase truck always pulls a trailer for worst case scenarios and recovery. We also know the local resources and do our best to get you up and running when possible. Don’t worry, no one gets left behind.
