It is roughly a 1 hour and 45 minute drive from the San Ysidro border crossing to Ensenada. Once you have cleared inspection stay to the right over the bridge, then over the hill and another right will put you directly on the toll road all the way to Ensenada. Always best to pay for everything in pesos. Some places will take a credit card but not guaranteed. You can exchange Dollars for Pesos at many locations in Ensenada. Dollars are fine at all locations.
